“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

The Living Word of the Almighty God is the only Power strong enough to discipline your flesh. He (Christ, the Living Word) is the only Power that can cause you to think, look, talk, and act like a Born-Again man. “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” (1 Peter 1:23).

I encourage you to start planting, because you won’t really get excited about the Word of God until you realize that it is more than just a collection of divinely-inspired promises which have become a reality in your life. The Word of God, the written Word, isn’t just a book. It is a seed that reveals life; it has the supernatural power to bring joy and peace for a lifetime to a Born-Again man. Take heed of what you hear in the Word, because therein are instructions to perfect the Love of God in you.

I encourage you to meet the Living Word by feeding on the Word. “It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones” (Proverbs 3:8). God commanded us in the Book of Proverbs, “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. (21) Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart” (Proverbs 4:20-21).

Again I encourage you to meet the Living Word. Because it never did a hungry person any good to think about what a potato tastes like, if he never took the time to enjoy one. Influence your world by meeting the Living Word. “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” (Romans 12:2). Because if any man be in Christ, truly, he is a new creature, old things surely are passed away when you meet the Living God.
