“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
Webster defines “paper trail” as documents from which a person’s actions may be traced or his opinions learned.
My mind can’t truly comprehend how beautiful it would have been to have been one of the twelve and watch my Lord and Saviour feed 4,000 and 5,000 men with so little. Or to watch Him walk on water, and then say one word that would allow me to walk on water as well. Or to have met Him on the Damascus road and been blinded by His glorious light.
We didn’t have the privilege to witness these things first hand, but we have the Book. Peter said, “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:21). Paul told Timothy, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).
It’s so funny to see how far these people with all the letters in front of or behind their names will go to discredit the name and work of Jesus Christ. Since nobody alive has seen these wonders, they say that these things aren’t so. Crooks and criminals pride themselves on not leaving a paper trail so that their works don’t follow them. But our Lord left us a paper trail – the Holy Bible, so we could be assured that those things He did are yea and Amen!
Genesis to Revelation is a paper trail that not only leads to a hidden treasure, but it also leads to the One who hid it, even Jesus.
