HOHPM Opportunities
Help Us Support Our Inmates and Their Families
Since its inception in 2006, House of Hope Prison Ministry has been focused on helping inmates by giving them direction and helping them cope with their situation. It is our goal to show them the Love of God and to tell them that no matter how big their storm, Jesus can calm the wind and the waves…He can give them peace. He can give them hope!
We’ve created the following Opportunities to help you better understand exactly what we do for these inmates and their families. These opportunities give you the ability to get involved with our ministry and start helping us with the mission that God has laid on our hearts. Please pray that God will lead you and show you how He would have you to help inmates or their families through these opportunities. Thank you and may God bless you.

Our prayer is that God will use this website to spread His Word and to bring more people into our ministry.
We know: “Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power…” (Psalms 110:3).
If God has touched your heart with this ministry, please join us in prayer and with your gifts, as He leads you. Below we have listed many opportunities for you to get involved with – but we never know what requests will come in. If you feel lead to give to this ministry’s general fund, to be used as the need arises – please use this donation button.
Inmate Guidance and Encouragement
Just as those of us who are living our normal lives need Guidance and Encouragement, those people who have lost their freedom and are currently incarcerated need it even more! This helps prevent them from becoming depressed and it provides them with a simple reminder that God is very much alive and on His throne! The following opportunities in this group are the things that God has laid on our hearts as a means of providing that Guidance and Encouragement to them.

The Lord has shown us a great mission field through the mailing of devotion collection booklets and other religious material.

Our hope is to be able to donate a small amount each month to these individuals canteen accounts.

ViewDonateReleased Inmates
This group of opportunities applies to inmates who are being released or who have been recently released. These inmates need your help now just as much or possibly even more than they did when they were incarcerated! Many times when a person is released from prison back into the “real world”, they find that they are rejected by their own families and the rest of the world! They need you help now more than ever…

Head-start programs offer needed assistance to recently released inmates. These programs include food, clothing, and/or shelter, as well as spiritual encouragement.

ViewDonateInmate Families
The following opportunities here are designed to help the families of those inmates that are under the care, love, and prayers of this ministry. E.g. sometimes there are families that are unable to visit their incarcerated family members, and sometimes these families just need prayer and support to “help them get through” the tough times they are experiencing.

From time to time, we have been made aware of families who are unable to visit their loved ones ...

We mail copies of the devotional booklets to family members without internet access.
ViewDonateHOHPM asks that you please pray about getting involved in one or many of these opportunities. We know that we’ve personally experienced God’s awesome power and love being exemplified through many of these opportunities, so if you want to be involved, just ask the Lord for His guidance in your lives as to which one He would have you to be involved with.
If you’re ready to get involved with a specific opportunity, then simply click on the appropriate View or Donate button within each of these opportunities specific to the particular opportunity of your choice.
Thank you and may God bless you!
