“… Noah was a just (righteous) man and perfect (upright) in his generations…” (Genesis 6:9)
The seed sower is important because of Who he represents and who he is. First, he represents Christ. Second, Christ, The Seed, lives in him. This means that the sower, being “in Christ,” is:
1) A New Creation by Regeneration:
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:13)
Also see Galatians 4:5-6.
2) Born from Above, which means he is:
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)
“Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?” (John 3:4)
“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” (John 3:5)
“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” (John 3:6)
“Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” (John 3:7)
“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8)
3) The Temple of God, which means he is:
“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.” (Romans 8:13)
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16)
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” (1 Corinthians 6:19)
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” (1 Peter 2:9)
“Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.” (1 Peter 2:10)
4) Ordained unto Glorification, which means he is:
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.” (Romans 8:29)
“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” (Romans 8:30)
5) Which means he is Sanctified in Christ:
“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:” (1 Corinthians 1:30)
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” (John 17:17)
“And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.” (John 17:19)
6) Which means he is Holy; that is, set apart in Christ:
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1)
“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” (Ephesians 4:29)
7) Which means he is a New Man; raised from spiritual death:
“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4)
“Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.” (Romans 6:6)
“Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.” (Romans 6:9)
“Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:11)
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:2)
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (1 Corinthians 15:52)
“For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” (1 Corinthians 15:53)
“So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.” (1 Corinthians 15:54)
“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” (1 Corinthians 15:55)
“The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.” (1 Corinthians 15:56)
8) Which means he is One in Christ:
“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” (John 17:21)
“And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:” (John 17:22)
“I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.” (John 17:23)
“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17:24)
9) Which means that he knows he is a Son of God; heir of God and joint-heir with Christ in His Glory:
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” (Romans 8:14)
“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” (Romans 8:15)
“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:” (Romans 8:16)
“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” (Romans 8:17)
10) Which means that he is not his own any longer, but a Son or Daughter of God:
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” (1 Corinthians 6:19)
“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians 6:20)
Therefore, being raised from spiritual death, you are alive in Christ (Romans 6:4-). Therefore, you are free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2). Therefore, you are now not a bond slave of unrighteousness, but a bond slave of righteousness (Romans 6:11-22). Therefore, there is no condemnation in you (Romans 8:1); you are now, by experience, a Child of the King (Romans 8:14-17). He is your Father; you dwell in Him and He dwells in you (John 17:21-24). Therefore, you are One in Him; which means you are a joint-heir of Christ; which means you are His Temple (1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19; Ephesians 3:21); and are in His Temple, or His Body (Galatians 3:25-29). This means you are the Bride of Christ, His Body, the Lamb’s Wife, even the Church of the Living God (1 Corinthians 3:15; Ephesians 2:19-22; 3:1-21; Revelation 21 – 22).
Therefore, because you are His Chosen (Ephesians 1:4-11); His Called (Romans 8:29-30; 2 Timothy 1:7-9); His Children (Romans 8:14-16); His Church (Ephesians 3:1-21; Galatians 3:25-29); His Converted (John 3:3-8)…
Then you have been in His Eternal Purpose in Christ:
1) Eternally Justified: in Eternity Past (Revelation 13:8; 1 Peter 1:18-20);
2) Judicially Justified: on the Cross (Romans 3:24-25; 5:1-2);
3) Experientially Justified: at Regeneration (Romans 8:14-16; John 3:3-8)
Then you are important as a Seed Sower.
