“…To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God” (Revelation 2:7)
God says that He knows our affliction, distress and pressing trouble, and great suffering and tribulation. And He reminds us that He is with us. And He wants us to understand that He is our shelter and strong tower; that we can feel safe in whatever matter or circumstances affliction and tribulation may hold in life. God has always been a shelter for us and a strong tower from the enemy (Psalm 61:3).
Satan knows the way to your heart is through circumstances; and he knows it is easy to get your attention and discourage you when you are in pain or facing a trial of some kind.
But to be an overcomer in the will of God, we have to daily keep our eyes fixed on the Word of God; where our true treasure lies, in the heart of God, who we trust in all of the hidden manna that is given for us to eat.
Again, Satan is busy; and to be an overcomer in times of temptation, affliction, suffering, or tribulation, we have to acknowledge always that “…God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).
I encourage you to continue to seek wisdom yourself through the love and will of God; because, “He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.” (Proverbs 19:8)
Be an overcomer, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works…” (Ephesians 2:10)
