“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4)

Child of God, we need to pray that today we will be enabled by God to live our life in His Life. We need to desire the temporal salvation wherein we can be overcomers of the world.

We know that the Power of Christ dwells in us. And as we grow in knowledge of Him, we are enabled to access His Power in every area of our life. As we walk and speak in His Power, we bear more Fruit of the Spirit. The more fruit we bear, the greater is our Peace in Him; the greater is our Joy in Him; and the greater is His Holiness manifested in our thoughts, words, and deeds.

Our desire should be to know more of Him; to be One with Him; to be Perfected in Him; to behold His Glory; and to walk in His Love. But the enemy resists this; the enemy is so strong against those who possess this desire. However, this force of resistance from the enemy drives the Born-Again Child of God to see the enemy for who he is. It makes us rejoice to suffer for the Name of Christ; and causes us to lean and depend upon God and His Promises to sustain us and to mature us.

Sometimes, when we grow so much in truth, we think we can withstand the enemy in our Knowledge of God. The truth is (yes, we must have knowledge of God, or have facts), but we must also have the Power of Christ giving us wisdom (how to use our knowledge of God) and strength (the Power of Christ, the Power past our strength; a supernatural Power) to be a daily overcomer.

The Victory is already won in Christ! What we must do is keep surrendering our wills to God. Submitting to His Way of Love; and obeying His Word, no matter the cost or circumstances. And finally we are to stand still and wait (or endure) for His Leadership (listen to the goings on in the mulberry bush; 1 Chronicles 14:15); to know when to, how to, and where to in every situation of our lives.
