(Hebrews 13:7-8) “Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. (8) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
These words are to the HOHPM and its director, a brother, a friend, a teacher, and a leader. No doubt the credit, honor and glory will be given to our Almighty God by him.
As I read the above verses this morning in my Bible Study, they stood out like a gold nugget in a pile of silver. These verses are totally true, as is all the Word of God; and we are to give credit where credit is due, and honor where honor is due.
Verse 8 is true as applied to this brother and his conversation, as I consider he has been faithful in the things mentioned in verse 7. First, has he spoken the Word of God? Second, does his faith follow? That is, does he practice what he preaches? Third, has he stood strong in his faith and conversation, knowing that Jesus will never change, and that nothing or no one can change how he feels about Jesus?
I want to thank the director for being a minister/speaker of the Word of God. I pray that you continue to be faithful in spreading the Gospel. Thank you for practicing what you preach. Thank you for being the example that stands on the solid Rock and continuing to profess that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
