Hello House of Hope Prison Ministry,
My name is J. S. and I am an inmate at –. Now the reason that I’m writing to you is to let you know that I am interested in becoming a Prayer Warrior with the Prison Ministry. I heard about the House of Hope Prison Ministry through –, who is also a Prayer Warrior. So I too would like to become one if it’s the Lord’s will, and I also would like to receive Bible Study lessons from you, if you have some.
Now House of Hope, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a black man; I’m 46 years of age. I’m from Louisville, MS, where I was born and raised. I have a wonderful family.
House of Hope, I also want to inform you that I have been going to church a long time, but I made the mistake of committing a crime that put me in prison. Now, as you know, we were born of the flesh and not of the Spirit; we were not born perfect.
I also wanted you to know that I write spiritual poems about the Lord. I would love to share these poems with others. If you would like to read some of my poems, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
