Letter received November 30, 2012:
I am a mother, head of home with three children and grandchildren. My husband is incarcerated and my job only pays $8 an hour. I am a testimony to the saints of God.
We often praise God for His faithfulness. We can be forever thankful that God is always there for us to count on, even though we rarely acknowledge Him until we’re to the end of whatever it may be that we’re facing.
I take great honor in giving my testimony of how God teamed up with HOHPM through grace, mercy, and all of His goodness to help me in a needful moment of my life. There were no family members, close friends, or community church members that I could turn toward or that were willing to share with me or give a helping hand to meet my needs. I travel two hours to work six days a week to support my children, but I needed tires for my car. I didn’t have the money for this, so I spent many nights kneeling before God. Never would I have thought that God would bless me through a prison ministry that I knew nothing about. But by faith, I am now able to understand that our God will truly use those that are willing in their heart and spirit.
I am thankful for the HOHPM and I ask that many others join with me to give a $5 donation to help support this ministry for so many others that may need help like my family.
I pray that in helping this ministry for others, your faith will be strengthened through the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that we all may be rooted and established in love together with all saints. I pray that you who read this testimony be filled with the measure of God’s blessings in your obedience of His will to team up with God to help others.
Thank you, C. P.
