I recently lost my dad to cancer. HOHPM had labored with me in prayers for him and even kept in close contact with my family in order to keep me informed as to his condition. After he passed, they reached out to comfort my mom. I know of no other prison ministry that expresses such concern for inmates and their families.
Simple things like that make a world of difference. Only God can reward such love. I pray that He will call others to join in your ministry.
